37% employees do not know their company’s strategy in Europe.
In Europe, the company’s strategy is often unknown to employees. And this finding varies between countries, worsening depending on whether we go from north to south of Europe. According to a European survey conducted among 8,000 people by StepStone (France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Netherlands, and Sweden), companies fail to clearly communicate their strategy and objectives to their employees. Thus, three out of five employees do not have a clear vision of the strategy and their business goals for 2012. Approximately, 22% say they have a vague idea and 37% say they do not know them!
